Yan is a nationally licensed acupuncturist who grew up surrounded by Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. After moving to the United States, she realized that traditional Chinese culture is both her foundation and her inspiration for understanding and connecting with the essence of Traditional Chinese Medicine. While working at a leading brand strategy and design company in Beijing, she developed a deep appreciation for the philosophy and wisdom behind Traditional Chinese Medicine. Today, she incorporates this ancient healing wisdom and the concept of inner energy into her acupuncture treatments to help people achieve greater overall wellness.

Yan graduated from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine, where she earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture. She then completed her national board examinations and received the titles of Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM) and Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.). She also pursued the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) program at Five Branches University. Yan is an experienced practitioner who has performed more than 1,000 treatments for pain management, infertility, women’s health concerns, chronic conditions, pediatric issues, and more.

Yan is passionate about Traditional Chinese Medicine and practices acupuncture using a gentle needling style that prioritizes patient safety and comfort. She has experience treating patients of all ages, from children to seniors. As a dedicated practitioner, she strives to provide the highest level of care while helping her patients restore balance and harmony to support their health and well-being.

Having lived in the Rocky Mountain region for more than a decade, Yan enjoys outdoor activities such as traveling, hiking, and camping, which are an important part of her lifestyle. As a wife and mother, she loves Asian cuisine and cherishes spending time with her family exploring the mountains and rivers. She believes that nature is life’s greatest teacher.
